what we do to help

Rescuing

Our main focus is on rescuing homeless and abandoned street dogs from north west puerto rico and bringing them to our foster facility for rehabilitation and care. The majority of animal shelters in Puerto Rico are underfunded, ill-equipped, and often resort to euthanasia. We rescue dogs from overcrowded kill shelters, ensuring they find a safe haven at our facility while awaiting adoption.

Fostering

Fostering is our cornerstone, transforming lives and readying dogs for loving forever homes. Our Fostering facility gives dogs a second chance; a temporary home preparing them for adoption with medical attention and vaccinations. We've made a big impact over four years, helping hundreds. Our mission is clear: offer temporary care, expand the facility, and provide sanctuary for even more dogs and animals in need.

Adoption

We collaborate with organizations and volunteers to relocate dogs to the mainland, where they are united with loving families or suitable shelters. This initiative is crucial because resources on the island are scarce, and many dogs have a better chance at a fulfilling life when moved states side.

Trap Sterilize & Release

We implement a 'trap, sterilize, and release' program to control the growing animal population. This strategy effectively reduces the number of unwanted births. Sterilizing animals is a crucial step in combating the issue of homeless and preventing unnecessary suffering and euthanasia on the island.
